Three bandits arrested

JACOBABAD, May 26: Three bandits were arrested after an encounter with the police near Mauladad on Monday.

Kaloo alias Malik, Abdul Rashid alias Azad Chandio and Qurban alias Qurbu Jakhrani snatched a motorcycle (SKD-9523) from Behram Mugheri in the jurisdiction of the Mauladad police station while he was on his way to Sangro Laro.

On receiving the information, a contingent of the police chased the outlaws. After an exchange of fire that continued for three and half hours, the outlaws surrendered before the police.

Three Klashnikovs and the stolen motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the outlaws.

One of the bandits, Qurban, was injured in the firing. He was taken to the Jacobabad Civil Hospital. Two police constable, Named Zulfiqar and Khadim Hussain, were also injured in the encounter.
