SAHIWAL, May 26: The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment director-general has ordered an inquiry against EDO (Community) Qazi Khalid Mahmood for taking Rs25,000 in bribe from a jobless youth.

Complainant Irshad Ahmed of Chak 82/6-R had alleged that the EDO (Community) extorted money from him on the promise that he would get him a job in the social welfare department, but he failed to do so. At this, the ACE director-general deputed the District Coordination Officer to conduct the inquiry.
