One of the members, Mian Tariq, in a formal session here on Monday tabled a motion in the house accusing Mian Anwar of embezzlement of funds, undue favour to favourites and using indecent remarks for women member.

Vice-chairman Mirza Shaukat Baig supported the move and sought other members support. Those who voted in favour of no-trust move are; Mian Tariq, Mahmood Akhtar, Afzal Navid Gill, Mian Atif Adeel, Chaudhry Aslam, Sharif Gujjar, Ghulam Mohyuddin, Azhar Sadiq, Muhammad Sharif, Shaukat Baig, Tahir Saeed, Liaquat Ali, Mawra Gilani and Abdul Razaq.

They also adopted another resolution barring the chairman from doing any official work.

The members exchanged hot words with the chairman during the session who threatened them with dire consequences for their action against him.

Later, the 16 members told a news conference that Mian Anwar tampered with record and prepared fake statements to embezzle funds.

They alleged that Mian Anwar allotted the official guest house to his friend where the latter had been residing with his family for the last many months.
