Four cops suspended

SUKKUR, Dec 11: The ASP, City, Sukkur, Mazher Shaikh, suspended four police officials on Tuesday on the charge of extorting money from a Pesh Imam of the Thermal Power Mosque.

The four who have been suspended are Head Constable Umeed Ali, Constable Abdul Sattar, Constable Wali Muhammad, and Constable Shafi Muhammad.

All belong to the C-section police station.

The Pesh Imam lodged a complaint that the four police officials on the pretext of searching him snatched Rs1,000.

The ASP taking action on his complaint suspended all four and ordered an inquiry.
