Laila fight on undercard

LOS ANGELES, May 21: Laila Ali, daughter of three-time world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, is expected fight on the undercard of the Lennox Lewis-Kirk Johnson heavyweight title fight on June 21 in Los Angeles.

Ali has a record of 14-0 with 11 knockouts. She will be fighting Valerie Mahfood (13-5) in a rematch of their bout in November, the Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday.

Ali won that fight in an eight-round TKO. Mahfood is a former worker at an all-male maximum security prison.—AFP
