3 Hizb activists arrested

RAWALPINDI, May 21: Three activists of Hizbul Mujahideen were arrested in on late Wednesday night raids in Rawalpindi, an official told Dawn.

He said the identity of the activists could not be known as the FIR registered against them with the police had been sealed and sent to the interior secretary.

Raid are being conducted to arrest some more activists, he added.

The Hizbul Mujahideen activists were arrested on charges of displaying arms and making anti-government speeches at a hotel near Morga in Rawalpindi on May 18 and inciting people, the sources said.
