WHEN Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf was out of Pakistan, we would hear on every news channel that Musharraf was a coward and he would never return to Pakistan.
Now quite a number of anchors are asking time and again why Musharraf is back and who advised him to do so. I would like to ask TV anchors: what actually do you want?

General Musharaf is a true patriotic Pakistani even late Dr. Israr Ahmad said this. However given our norms these days it is not surprising to see such patriots in jail while the real sellouts run the Government. Only possible in Pakistan.. So pathetic...

It is really sad, no so called democratic government had the courage to free electronic media. These TV channels should be grateful to Pervaiz Musharraf. In a few years time, people will really understand what a sincere and great leader Pervaiz Musharraf was.

Remember before Lal Masjid operation, media was taunting govt & army for inaction. But soon after the operation, same media started accusing govt of being high handed & bloodshed of innocents.

Generally speaking the TV anchors and Journalist are against Musharraf and keep on speculating about his return to Dubai. In the recent interview one of the journalists asked Zardari whether Musharraf was leaving Pakistan on 4th June 2013. In reply Zardari checked his watch and asked the journalist as to what was the date today and then he said that it was up to the new government to tackle the issue.

TV channels in pakistan during the years have grown-up like mashroom!! to compete with each other and gain point scoring for their channels, the anchors tries to manipulate their reports to gain their popularity.

they have nothing personal against Gen Musharraf
speaking against him is an accepted norm, just like its an accepted norm to be selectively critical about War on terror.
