CDGK record third success

KARACHI, May 19: City District Government Karachi (CDGK) notched-up their third successive win in the 12th HinoPak KCCA inter-firm cricket league after defeating Central Police by six wickets at TMC Ground on Sunday.

Medium-pacer Muneeruddin snapped three for 38 to restrict Central Police to 174 for eight in their 40 overs.

CDGK, in reply, reached their target in 38.5 overs for the loss of four wickets. Young opener Khurram Manzoor struck seven boundaries in making 62.

Khurram and Daniyal Ahsan (50 with five fours) gave their team a flying start by putting on 115 for the opening wicket.
