QUETTA, May 19: The Chaghai Militia, a wing of the Frontier Corps, has seized 2.3 ton morphine from an old Afghan refugee camp in Chaghai district.

“We have seized the morphine from Girdi Jungle in Chaghai area of Balochistan,” Col Qazi Naeemullah, commandant of the Chaghai Militia, said on Monday.

He said that the morphine was brought in from Afghanistan and dumped in an abandoned house of the old refugee camp for its onward shipment to Iran and other European countries.
