Zakat staff told to mend ways

PESHAWAR, May 17: Provincial Minister for Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare & Women Development Hafiz Hashmat Khan has taken notice of habitual absence of the Zakat department staff and directed them to improve their performance.

He also directed district officers of the department and Zakat bodies chairmen to ensure attendance of all staff of Zakat offices in order to improve performance and ensure maximum use of the fund meant for the poor.
