HYDERABAD, May 17: The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party activists held a demonstration outside the local press club on Friday against the administration of Kotri taluka hospital.

The party leaders, while speaking on the occasion, accused the hospital adm-

inistration of patronizing corrupt staff.

They alleged that medicines, supposed to be given to patients, were being sold by the hospital management to private medical stores. They added that patients were forced to pay Rs50 for an X-ray.

SEMINAR: Research scholar Shah Mohammad Mahesar gave a presentation for his PhD degree at a seminar at the University of Sindh the other day.

The topic of Mr Mahesar’s presentation was “Comparative and Quantitative Biochemical Analysis of Blood and Amino Acids from Human Epidermal Keratin of Normal and Psoriatic Patients”

The scholar is a professor at the Chandka Medical College, Larkana.

Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui presided over the seminar.
