JACOBABAD, May 16: Activists of the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party and Labour Party took out a procession here on Friday against the shortage of potable water since the last one month in Jacobabad district.

The procession started from the labour office and terminated at the press club.

The protesters raised slogans against the municipal administration for its failure to provide water to the people.

ARRESTED: Police have arrested five outlaws following an encounter near Mehar Shah in the jurisdiction of the Abad police station on Thursday night.

Pistols and other automatic weapons along with hundreds of bullets were recovered from their possession.
