Azhar’s advice

Published May 15, 2003

LAHORE, May 14: PML-Q former president Mian Azhar on Wednesday urged his party colleagues not to adopt any course of action which would weaken the existing system.

But, he said in a press statement, any change should be brought about through the assemblies, no matter what their credentials.

He said it was regrettable that the political leadership had made the ‘state employees’ as their ‘boss’.

This was an obvious reference to Prime Minister Jamali’s recent statement that President Gen Musharraf was his boss. — Staff Reporter
