RAWALPINDI, May 14: Tehsil Nazim Raja Hamid Nawaz has restored the contract for collection of board tax.

According to a press release, the Tehsil Nazim had cancelled the contract some days ago after the contractor failed to pay instalments on time and for installing boards without his approval.

After restoring the contract, the Tehsil Nazim asked the contractor to receive payments according to the terms and schedule of the contract.

The spokesman for the Tehsil Nazim said no license fee should be received for the year 2002-2003. He said no contract had been given in this regard.

He advised the people not to pay any fee to anyone who claims to be a TMA official and inform the administration in this connection.
