DADU, May 14: The police on Wednesday raided a hideout of dacoits in Baddo Jabal near Jhangara.

Senior police officials of Hyderabad and Dadu districts led the operation. The dacoits, however, managed to flee from the spot before police could surround the area.

Police were informed that dacoits were hiding there with two hostages, Rehan Shaikh and Deewan Vinod Kumar, kidnapped some 20 days back from Hyderabad.

ADVISER: Adviser to Sindh chief minister on human resources, Abdul Majeed Jamali advocate has said that dispensaries and health care units will be established in the remote areas of the district which had been neglected in the past.

Speaking to officers, Nazims, NGO activists and citizens at the circuit house here on Wednesday, the minister took notice of embezzlement in the education department.

He said action will be taken against the corrupt officers.
