KARACHI, May 14: The STR-II general manager, Nafees Ahmed Siddiqui, with Abdul Naeem, director customer zone I, STR II, visited the special camps on Friday, says a press release.

It adds that the special camps have been set up at the Customer Centre, Clifton telephone exchange, on the special instructions of the PTCL chairman, Akhtar Ahmed Bajwa, to facilitate the applicants for providing immediate new telephone connections.

The press release says that the special camps will be in operation daily from 10am to 1pm at the Clifton telephone exchange and from 5pm to 9pm opposite Agha Super Market near Schon Chowrangi, Block 8, Clifton.

“On the occasion, the general manager, STR II, instructed the DE customer that on producing of utility bill by the applicants, demand notes be issued without security deposit wherever technically possible and after payment of demand notes, immediate installation of telephone connections be ensured.”
