Published May 14, 2003

LAHORE, May 13: Muslims will celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi on Thursday with religious fervour and zeal all over the world.

Lahorites, like every year, will also take out processions to mark the day and spend a night of worship to invoke the blessings of the God.

Almost every mosque in the city has arranged mahafil-i-milad in addition to naat competitions to pay homage to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Markazi Milad Committee, as per past practice, will take out a torch-bearing procession from Data Darbar on Wednesday night.

Some official and non-official organizations have also arranged conferences and seminars to highlight the importance of Uswaa-i-Hasna (the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and its importance and relevance to modern times and needs.
