QUETTA, May 13: A division bench of Balochistan High Court on Tuesday directed the Saddar police station SHO and Mastung Tehsildar to arrest the accused nominated in the FIR for killing a woman.

The bench, comprising Chief Justice Raja Mohammad Fayyaz and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani, disposed of an application filed by Ms Safiya requesting arrest of those involved in her daughter’s murder and her release from Darul Aman.

The SHO and the Tehsildar recorded their statements on the application.

The judges directed the officials to apprehend the accused and produce them before the court, however they ordered that the petitioner should remain in the Darul Aman keeping in view her apprehensions about her safety.

Meanwhile, anti-corruption court judge Atiqur Rehman issued the arrest warrants of Turbat SHO Mohammad Gul and Sub Inspector Mohammad Nassem for not appearing in cases as investigation officers.
