KARACHI, May 12: Six ships carrying palm oil and vehicles are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to a KPT report.

Berthing activity at the wharves was dull as no ship was berthed at any of the wharves owing perhaps to technical reasons after the departure of three.

The ships which departed included Ocean Strength, Warbah and panos-G, while Capi Negro, Kota Waris, Gulf Lion, Banglar Maookh and Tai. Three are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was moderately active where a total tonnage of 53,400 tons comprising 14,343 tons of export cargo and 39,057 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Shirwan with 61,500 tons of crude oil, Florida with 5,500 tons of palm oil, X-Press Kailash, Manhattain Bridge and Oriental Bright with containers and Bravery Ace with 151 vehicles.
