HYDERABAD, May 11: An exhibition of models depicting Sindh’s rural life and Shah Latif’s poetry, created by Abdul Karim Solangi, Mohammad Nawaz Abbasi and Abdul Qadir Bhatti, was inaugurated in Jamshoro on Saturday.

The one-week event has been organized by the Institute of Sindhology, University of Sindh.

Through his moving and unmoving mockups, combining different crafts, Mr Solangi portrays rural life of Sindh.

Mr Abbasi focuses on characters of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai and Mr Bhatti’s work is also based on the poetry of Bhitai.

Inaugurating the exhibition, Sindh University vice-chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui appreciated the artists for their works in promoting art and culture of the province.

Institute of Sindhology director Shaukat Hussain Shoro also expressed his views on the works of the artists.
