Lunar eclipse on 16th

ISLAMABAD, May 10: There will be total eclipse of the moon on May 16 but it will not be visible in Pakistan, said a Met official.

The total eclipse will be visible in parts of Antarctica, Africa, Western Europe, Atlantic Ocean, Southern Green Land, America, Alaska and east Pacific Ocean, Malik Ghulam Muhammad Qadir, a deputy director, said.

The moon eclipse will begin at 6.05am and end at 11.15am on Friday. The total eclipse could be observed from 8.14am to 9.06am. —APP
