QUETTA, May 10: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousaf has said the issue pertaining to gas companies has been settled following negotiation between Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and Governor Balochistan, Lt-Gen Abdul Qadir in Dera Bugti.

“The Dera Bugti issue is settled,” he told reporters here on Saturday.

He said the provincial governor visited Dera Bugti last week along with chief secretary and discussed the gas companies issues with Nawab Bugti in detail.

The governor assured the Bugti tribe chief that all the problems being faced by the people of Dera Bugti will be resolved and there will be no military operation in the area.—Staff Correspondent
