KARACHI, May 24: The final match of the 15th National Seniors Cup 2013 will be played between the winner of Southern Region Karachi Moin Khan Seniors and the Winner of Northern Region Lahore Amar Cables at the DHA Sports Club here under floodlights on Saturday (today).

This was announced by Fawad Ijaz Khan, Chairman Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association here on Friday.

To its credit, the PVCA has been organizing this tournament for the last 15 years. This year, a total of 101 teams from 56 cities participated in the tournament, being sponsored by Arif Habib Corporation and Omar Associates Pvt Ltd.

Karachi Moin Khan Seniors will be led by Asim Jah and Lahore Amar Cables by Amer Ilyas Butt. The match starts at 5:45pm and will be 30-overs-a-side contest. Teams:

Karachi Moin Khan Seniors: Asim Jah (Captain), Nadeem Khan, Moin Khan, Aziz-ur-Rehman, Jawad Ali, Mazhar Hussain, Omar Rasheed, Omar Masood, Dr. Kamal, Tanveer Ali, Mahmood Hamid, Ghulam Ali, Habib-ur-Rehman, Shadab Karim and Abid Hanif.

Lahore Amar Cables: Amer Ilyas Butt (Captain) , Ameer Akbar, Dastgeer Butt, Zahir Omar, Tariq Rasheed, Rauf Wain, Amed Sahab, Aziz-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Arif, Shahid Mansoor, Munir Shah, Tariq Hussain,Zahid Khan, Hafiz Ghafoor and Aftab Ahmed .

Alay Haider and Imtiaz Iqbal will officiate the tie as umpires while Baber Basharat will be the match referee.—Agencies
