Bomb hoax

KARACHI, May 20: Panic speared in and around the Malir district courts and legal proceedings were partly disturbed because of a bomb hoax on Monday.

According to the court staff, a man made a call at 9am from his mobile phone to the office of Malir District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Yamin and told one of the staff members about the presence of a bomb in the court. The police backed by the bomb disposal squad personnel cordoned off the area and carried out a thorough search for three hours but found no explosive material.—Staff Reporter
