LAHORE, May 18: Home Minister Tariq Pervaiz and Inspector General of Police Aftaab Sultan on Saturday visited the Capital City Police Office and reviewed the Lahore police performance during a meeting.

According to a handout, the minister appreciated the police for performing election duties in a professional way and also urged them to work for the elimination of crime from society.

He said police officers should visit police stations once a week and examine daily and other registers besides lock-ups.

CCPO Khalid Dad Lak, DIG (Operations) Jawad Ahmad Dogar, DIG (Investigation) Zulfiqar Hameed, SSPs operations as well as investigation and all divisional SPs attended the meeting.
