Kohlu hit by rockets

Published May 10, 2003

QUETTA, May 9: Kohlu was rocked third time in a week when two rockets fired by unknown people, exploded in the township early on Friday morning.

The rockets, fired with brief intervals from mountains, landed in an open place and exploded with big bang, creating panic among the people.

No causality or damage was, however, reported.

It was the third rocket attack on the Kohlu township.

Earlier, unknown people fired rockets twice on the township, targeting a checkpoint of the Frontier Corps and official residence of the District Coordination Officer (DCO).—Correspondent
