JUI-F set to join coalition after PML-N invitation

ISLAMABAD: After failing to form a government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl's (JUI-F) avenues for entering a coalition government in the centre and Balochistan assembly, opened up after a formal invitation from Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday, DawnNews reported.

Shahbaz held a meeting with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman during which the issues related to formation of a government were discussed whereas the PML-N also extended a formal invitation to the JUI-F to form a coalition government in the National Assembly and Balochistan's provincial assembly.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Shahbaz said that the challenges faced by the country needed to be addressed jointly.

He further said that the PML-F was their ally in Sindh whereas party chief Nawaz Sharif wanted to take all political parties on-board to tackle the issues of terrorism, corruption and the energy crises in Pakistan.

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl said that a meeting of the party's central Majlis-e-Amla was called for today during which the decision to join a coalition government would be taken after consultation.

What type of face Maulana sahib is showing to non muslim world with his attitude toward people mandate in KPK. He is a shame to us and himself. This man has no credibility whatsoever. For his personal gains he can go to any extent

Fazlur Rahman is a shrewd and cunning man. This time, despite not doing well in the elections, he managed to elbow his way into the government. He just can't live on his own...he needs the tax payers to pay for his luxurious living.

Why is so much energy wasted for Maulana, whereas it is a proven fact that this fellow has no respect or ethical binding to any faith except his own. If somebody travels to his domain people are truly tight lipped and donot utter a word in his terror. His control is similar to MQM but comfortably remote enough to catch any serious attention. Moreover .....

Well done PML-N. By respecting the mandate of KPK and not joining him in forming a government in KPK and in parallel, inviting him to join center and Baluchistan governments, so he does not get into the adventure mode. You have learnt well from the Banazir government to hold him in check. One should keep his friends close, and keep ones enemies even closer.
