Doctor looted

MULTAN, May 7: Two armed robbers snatched about Rs1.2 million in cash from a local doctor on Wednesday.

Dr Mustafa Kamal Pasha was on the way to his clinic-cum-residence on Nishter Road after encashing prize bonds from the SBP’s regional office when two motorcyclists intercepted him.

The robbers hit him with buts of pistols when the doctor tried to hold them out. Later,

they snatched cash from the doctor and escaped with the booty.—Correspondent
