Rashid slams century

LAHORE,  May  6:  A century by Rashid  Riaz failed to save National Bank Lahore from a two-wicket defeat at the hands of Moughalpura Institute Whites in the fourth DSW Gold Cup Cricket Tournament at the Moughalpura Institute Ground on Tuesday.

Batting first, the bankers scored 225 for six in 40 overs with Rashid hitting 104.

In reply, Moughalpura achieved the target scoring 226 for eight in 35 overs. Aamir Butt slammed 71.

In another match, a haul of six for 18 by Sohail enabled Customs Lahore beat Griffin Institute by six wickets.
