TEL AVIV, Dec 9: Israel said its forces killed four Palestinians on Sunday after coming under fire in the West Bank.
“Armed Palestinians opened fire from a car on soldiers. The soldiers returned fire and four Palestinians were killed,” said an army spokesman.
Witnesses and hospital sources said earlier that the four were Palestinian policemen and that the killings occurred when Israeli troops made a raid on the Palestinian-ruled village of Anabta in the West Bank.—Reuters
