LAHORE, May 3: Independent candidate for NA-119 Ayesha Ahad Malik alleged on Friday that some workers of the opponent party threw hot water on her in Gawalmandi where she was doing her election campaign.
Ms Ahad, who claims herself to be the wife of another candidate for NA-119 Hamza Shahbaz, told Dawn that she along with her supporters was canvassing when some activists of a political party threw hot water on her, but she remained safe.
She also alleged that her opponents had removed her banners from the constituency and her supporters were being harassed. She appealed to the Election Commission of Pakistan to take notice of it. — Staff Reporter
