KARACHI, Jan 31: Pakistan’s world amateur snooker champion Mohammad Asif continued his winning spree by routing Thailand’s No 32 Kritsanut Lertsattayathon 4-0 to storm into quarter-finals of the Sangsom Mukdahan Cup in Mukdahan on Thursday.

Asif, who blanked Thai Bundit Kiewsuthi 4-0 in the opener on Monday which include a splendid century break, remained in contention for the title with second victory on the trot.

Pakistan’s top cueist took almost one hour to register 95-22, 70-8, 62-27, 75-24 win over the Thai player. He compiled solid breaks of 86, 48, 49 and 52 in the four frames respectively.

His quarter-final fixture is slated for Friday.
