ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) and All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) have held partially successful negotiations in which Ogra has prepared an initial working paper on CNG prices, DawnNews reported.
According to the working paper, in Region 1 the price of CNG will be increased by Rs.12.50 per kg and in Region 2 the price will be increased by Rs 11.80 per kg.
The compression cost for CNG will be Rs7.20, while the operating cost will be Rs7.90. The CNG owners profit will be Rs3.42 per kg.
At the same time the APCNGA chairman Ghayas Paracha has said that there have been positive developments during talks with Ogra.
He said that in accordance with Ogra's demand, the audit reports of 1000 stations have been submitted.
Ghayas Paracha also said that electricty bills have also been submitted as per Ogra's requirements.
He also said that Ogra and the APCNGA have disagreements on the monthly sales of CNG.
