HYDERABAD, Nov 19: The Save Sehwan Committee has alleged that the PPP government is selling public property at throwaway prices.

MPA from Sehwan and Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was involved in the sale of government property in Sehwan, said leaders of the committee, including Sindh United Party secretary information Roshan Ali Buriro, Haji Dodo Khan and Rafiq Dahiri advocate.

Addressing a press conference on Monday at the local press club, they alleged that Murad Ali Shah and his henchmen in collusion with the divisional commissioner of Hyderabad and deputy commissioner of Jamshoro had sold out Mukhtiarkar office, sub-jail, police quarters, residence of assistant Mukhtiarkar, tapedars’ centre, old deputy district officer (DDO) and offices located in the district complex.

They said the deputy commissioner of Jamshoro through an agreement had leased out these properties to construct shopping centre and flats under self finance scheme.
