TAXILA, Nov 12: An elderly woman was crushed to death by a speedy passenger van on G.T. road near Jameelabad in the limits of Taxila police station on Monday. Police sources said that Bibi Jan came from the village Hassar, Hassanabdal to see some relatives.
When she was crossing G.T. road near Jameelabad, a speedy passenger van recklessly driven by Ghulam Mustafa hit her; resultantly she died on the spot.
Taxila police handed over the body for burial after fulfilling legal formalities and registered a case against the driver and impounded the vehicle.— Correspondent
