GUJAR KHAN, Oct 15: Burglars took away cash and valuables from three houses in the Thakra village near here.

Mohammad Gulzar complained to the police that burglars made off with gold ornaments worth Rs540,000 and Rs50,000 cash from the house of his deceased brother.

Mohammad Shahzad said six boxes containing valuables were stolen from the house of his uncle Mohammed Riaz, who is settled abroad.

Eight wrist watches were taken away from the house of Mohammad Riaz. The sources said the police had not registered FIRs of the cases.
