Nine nights of worship

Starting from the first day of the Navratri festival in India feasting and fasting takes over normal life for millions of Hindus. The festival started on October 16, 2012.

Navratri, the nine-day festival, is held twice a year during the spring and autumn seasons and symbolises the triumph of good over evil being celebrated with worship and dance.
