LONDON, Sept 11: Sebastian Coe will stand for the leadership of the British Olympic Association (BOA), saying he wanted to show his gratitude to the organisation that helped him to win gold in the 1980s and guide the London 2012 Games to a roaring success. Coe, twice an Olympic 1,500m champion and who was appointed the chairman of the 2012 Games, will go for election when current BOA head Colin Moynihan steps down later this year, with a vote likely in November.—Reuters
