ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: The first secretary of the Tunisian embassy and his wife suffered burn injuries in an explosion in their E-7 house Friday night.

Police said the explosion occurred in the kitchen of the house due to gas leakage when the couple was watching TV.

The injured were shifted to hospital for medical assistance. The police said the couple, Zohair and Waheeda, received 30 per cent burns but were in a stable condition. A portion of the house, including the kitchen, was also damage.
