ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Hamid Karzai called Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Thursday and discussed important issues including fight against terrorism, DawnNews reported.

They also exchanged their views on Pak-Afghan relations.

Karzai and Ashraf vowed to establish peace in the region by combating terrorism.

Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that Pakistan wants to see stable and peaceful Afghanistan.

Moreover, both the leaders greeted each other on Eid.
