LAHORE, Aug 13: Five men were caught removing nut fasteners from blots of the main rail track at Changa Manga, said a Railways Police spokesman on Monday.

On a tip-off that some men were removing the hardware at kilometre No 1147/9-10 near the outer signal of Changa Manga station, the Kasur police headed by Station House Officer Abdul Aziz raided and nabbed the accused. A total of 90 nut and bolts with clump mounds were seized from the accused identified as Idrees, Siddiqo, Iqbal, Alhah Rakha and Siddique.

A case has been registered at Kasur railway police station against the accused and further investigation is under way. — Staff Reporter
