LAHORE, July 30: The Airport Security Staff allegedly thrashed an employee of PIA over a petty issue here on Monday.
A PIA official told Dawn that lady inspector of ASF Madiha along with some constables thrashed Minhal Zahra, an assistant of passengers handling, severely for taking a phone call of her husband on her cell minutes before Iftar.
They said the officials present there intervened and saved her from further thrashing. She was taken to hospital for first aid and medico-legal.
According to a PIA official, an application has been filed with the police station concerned for registration of a case against the accused.
