KARACHI, July 22: The bullet-riddled bodies of two unidentified men, stuffed in gunny bags, were found under the Shershah bridge in the small hours of Sunday, police said.

They said the bodies were dumped within the remit of the Mauripur police station.

After getting information about the bodies, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

The police said both men had been shot to the head.

It appeared that they had been kidnapped and killed somewhere else and the bodies were dumped near the Shershah bridge, they added.

Following the medico-legal formalities, the bodies were shifted to the Edhi morgue for want of identification.

Till late in the night, the bodies could not be identified, said SSP-West Amir Farooqui.
