LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High court (LHC) has demanded the details of bank accounts, assets and expenses from judges of the sub-ordinate judiciary in Punjab, DawnNews reported.

Through a circular issued by the LHC Registrar, all district and sessions judges, additional district and sessions judges, senior civil judges, civil judges and others have been directed to submit annual declaration of income, their assets, details of their family’s bank accounts, their children’s school fees and their monthly bills, and expenses by July 31, 2012.

The memo also asked them to declare if they have membership of any club or possess any prize bonds.

Lawyers of Lahore applauded the Chief Justice LHC pertaining to his memo.
