LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that the evidence of the involvement of foreign agencies in Balochistan had proved the inefficiency of the national security institutions.

In a statement he urged the Supreme Court to take notice of the foreign hand in the province and direct the agencies to confine their working to the national security and law and order.

Syed Munawar Hasan said Indian and Israeli agents were busy in subversive activities in the province with the support of the CIA and that the situation was alarming.

He said that foreign agencies were distributing arms and money on a large scale among the separatists and evidence of the involvement of 24 agencies had already come forth.

The JI chief said that the interior advisor had been talking of a foreign hand in Balochistan but had done nothing to control the situation.

He further stated that the government was maintaining criminal silence over enemy activities and were simply interested in completing their term.

Syed Munawar Hasan said the situation in Balochistan had gone out of control of the government and the law enforcement agencies.

The killing of six people in Quetta during the convicted prime minister's visit proved that the situation was out of control of the government, he said.
