RAWALPINDI, May 16: As many as 6,000 candidates appeared in the written and psychological tests for 605 posts of emergency staff for Rescue 1122 in different cities of Punjab on Wednesday.

Spokesperson for the Emergency Services said that the written and psychological assessment (personality aptitude) tests were conducted at Emergency Services Academy.

The successful candidates will be posted in Lahore, Attock, Jhelum, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Chakwal, Mandi Bahuddin, Murree, Ahmad Pur East, Chichawatni, Gujar Khan, Jaranwala, Kabeerwala, Khanpur, Liaquat Pur, Kharian, Mian Channu, Mureed Kay, Pattoki and Sadiqabad.

The list of the written test qualifying candidates will be displayed at the end of the current month at Emergency Services Academy.

Interviews of the short-listed candidates will be conducted by the recruitment board comprising members from five different government departments in order to ensure merit. Even after selection, the candidates are kept under observation during training and final selection is subjected to successful completion of the training. The document will be verified before the completion of the training. —Staff Reporter
