Power crisis is unacceptable, says Zardari

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his annoyance over the ongoing loadshedding in the country, saying that the worsening power crisis is unacceptable.

He said that the concerned government departments should make sure that power is restored and the situation be monitored be monitored on a daily basis.

President Zardari also instructed the relevant ministries to look into the situation and asked the authorities to redress the matter immediately.

Meanwhile, he ordered the water and power ministry to establish a central control room to monitor the situation. Naveed Qamar was also given a briefing regarding the issue.

To eliminate the circular debt, instructions were also given to release TSE worth Rs82 billion rupees

TSE certificate for the release of TSE would be issued only after approval.
