These days eminent Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah frequently visits Pakistan. He seems to have taken a shine to Pakistani films (not the typical Lollywood kind, by the way) and thinks Khuda Kay Liye was one of the better films he has worked in.

According to an Indian newspaper, during one such visit to Lahore the city’s known social figure Yousuf Salahuddin managed to persuade Naseeruddin to do voiceovers for a drama serial — a fresh take on the folk tale of Heer Ranjha. Ahsan Khan and Zaria will play the parts of Ranjha and Heer, respectively.

Interesting. Naseer sahib must be the narrator of the play. Hope the rest of the drama lives up to its narration.
