RAWALPINDI:  Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said on Thursday said that the next election would be held in a free, fair and transparent manner, expressing the confidence that the PPP would win the next general election again with a majority.

He was addressing a function arranged to acknowledge the services of Member of PPP Central Executive Committee Qazi Sultan Mehmood rendered during the last 44 years for the party.

He said, “PPP would win the next general election including in Punjab.”

"Election Commission of Pakistan is preparing an error free voter list," he said and urged the workers to ensure registration of votes in their respective areas.

About presidential immunity, Aitzaz Ahsan that; “The president enjoys immunity like any other head of state in 198 countries” he said.

He said he has full confidence in the judiciary and that all the decisions of the court will be fully implemented.

Commenting on the next upcoming federal budget, he said it would be peoples friendly and growth oriented.
