ATTOCK, April 8: Malik Hakmeen Khan, senior leader and former senator of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) claimed here on Sunday that the party would form its government in Punjab after the upcoming general elections to streamline the “deteriorated” system in the province particularly in health and education sectors.

Talking to local newsmen, Mr Hakmeen further said PPP would launch a movement with public support to bring about political revolution there.

“To bring the era of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) back, PPP’s government in Punjab is a must-have,” he advocated.

He promised that as per the vision of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Attock would be made a stronghold of the party.

Mr Hakmeen added the party’s image had been damaged by conspirators in the past; however it failed their nefarious designs with the support of the masses and its loyal workers. He assured the workers they would be given their due rights and respect at every level.

He announced the government would extend relief to the masses in the forthcoming budget. On query, he replied the government was working out a practical strategy to overcome energy crisis in the country.
